what should i do?
In 2019 I was an Artist in Residence at the Centre for Art Tapes (CFAT) in Halifax Nova Scotia. To celebrate CFAT’s 40th anniversary four artists were invited to create work that responded to one of the four decades CFAT had existed. I was given the most recent decade. Perplexed by how to go about capturing a moment in time I turned to the centre’s audio archive and asked the voices therein - what should I do? This was their response.
