Dark Water

This was a site-specific soundwalk created for the White Rabbit Open Air Art Festival in collaboration with Kristina Loring. Dark Water took a listener around the higher pond of Red Clay farm in Upper Economy Nova Scotia. This farm sits atop the Bay of Fundy home to the highest and lowest tides in the world. We reflected on the power and protection of water in this 8 minute experience for an audience of one.

For my contribution I explored a conversation I had with my mother speaking about how swimming was part of her healing process as she recovered from breast cancer.

A portion of this piece played on the CBC Doc Project.
